| 5K Support the fight against cancer Runners, walkers and strollers of all ages are invited to help kick off American Fork Hospital's annual 5k to help support the fight against cancer. All proceeds will benefit cancer patients in our community who can't afford treatment. Each runner will receive a performance shirt (men's and women's sizing) and be entered into a drawing for prizes. |

RUN with PURPOSE
Right now in Utah, there are thousands of people who are dealing with the
difficulties and pains of cancer treatment. Along with the physical and emotional
stresses they and their families are experiencing together, comes—inevitably—the
issue of paying for those treatments.
The American Fork Canyon Half Marathon and 5K is helping local
neighbors who need financial assistance to pay for the cost of cancer
treatments. The Cancer Centers at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center
and American Fork Hospital, in partnership with the Utah Valley
Healthcare Foundation, donate 100 percent of the proceeds from our
race to this cause.
Because of your involvement in our race and additional donations,
a number of families right here in your area have been helped by
removing the financial burden on their path to becoming a cancer
